By participating in the ‘Don’t be in the dark’ photo competition, you (Participant) agree and accept to be bound by its terms and conditions, set out below:
You consent to SAFE publishing all works and your name via social media prior to publishing online for the ‘People’s Choice award’ and review by a SAFE judging panel, which determines the winning photo for each category.

The winner will be notified via email shortly after the event in addition to the wining entries being announced via social media and website.

All judging decisions on the category winners are final. We reserve the right to decide the prizes and change the final prize pack without notice. The work will be available for distribution and adaptation as SAFE sees fit.

Terms and Conditions

Entries must be received between the START and the END. Photographs must be below 5MB files and submitted in correct size. All photos will be moderated by SAFE. All photos will be moderated by SAFE. SAFE reserves the right to moderate content and refuse entry. No correspondence will be entered into.

SAFE is an animal advocacy organisation dedicated to helping to save animals from cruelty. As such SAFE promotes a positive lifestyle that does not involve the use of animal products. Photos of animal products may be removed at SAFE’s discretion.

Work submitted and accepted for competition do not represent SAFE’s views.

One entry per person (email address). Each entry must be the original photograph of the person submitting it; entries must not have been previously published and must not be submitted elsewhere for any competition, or for any publication in any form, until after the announcement of the results of this competition.

The winning photographers will be available for publicity if required.

The competition organisers will be responsible for managing judging and public voting. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The competition organiseres accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

The overall winner of the ‘Don’t be in the dark’ photo competition will be a smartphone.

Dinner at the Heritage is only available in Auckland and the winner must make own travel arrangements.

SAFE reserves the right to change the contents of prize packages

Public online voting will be open at safe.promoki.com from Thursday 1 August 2013 until Saturday 31 August. Winners will be announced on Monday 2 September via email address provided with entry.
